Second Career program is for laid-off, unemployed workers for which skills training is the most appropriate intervention to transition them into high-skill, in demand occupations in the local labour market.
Up to $28,000 to support tuition, books, travel and basic living allowance.
Who can apply:
- Individuals who have been laid-off on or after January 1, 2005;
- Individuals who are unemployed;
- Residents of Ontario;
- Individuals who demonstrate occupational demand for the skills training request with evidence of good employment prospects locally or within Ontario.
