What We Do

The BJO program supports unemployed individuals in need of skills training
 to help find employment in in-demand occupations with demonstrated labour market prospects in Ontario. The intention of the BJO program is to help individuals rapidly attach to employment by the most cost-effective
 path.

Support available:

Up to $28,000 to support tuition, books, travel and basic living allowance.

Who can apply:

  • Individuals who are have been laid-off and be unemployed
  •  Individuals from a low-income household and experiencing challenges attaching to the labour market
  • Residents of Ontario
  •  Individuals who demonstrate occupational demand for the skills training request with evidence of good employment prospects locally or within Ontario
