The LINC program facilitates the integration of newcomers into Canadian culture and society by providing basic language training based on LINC Curriculum themes. Students are taught basic and advanced topics related to Canada and the Canadian way of life, while learning English at the same time.

Literacy 1, 2, 3
Teaches basic proficiency in listening, reading, speaking and writing. Students learn to give adequate responses to questions, communicate basic needs and engage in routine everyday communication. They are able to use English in predictable exchanges.

LINC 1, 2, 3, 4
Improves the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills of students and moves their performance levels to an initial intermediate stage. They engage in intelligible and communicatively effective social interactions. They demonstrate an ability to function in unpredictable contexts.

Communication 1, 2, 3
This course provides participants with transferable skills that can be used in a professional and personal level. Participants will practice the four language acquisition skills of listening/speaking, reading/writing while improving their fluency in and focusing on speaking and pronunciation.

Seniors LINC 1, 2, 3
The four competency areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing are practiced in this class at the CLB Literacy Benchmark stages 3-4 and LINC 1 levels. The goal of the course is to buil decoding and comprehension literacy skills in a senior-focussed environment.
